The mission of the Mothers’ Club of Absecon and Galloway is to provide educational and emotional support and social experiences that enrich the well-being of mothers and their children. We create a welcoming environment for all members, fun activities for our families and opportunities to better our community with a focus on charitable giving.
The Mothers' Club of Absecon & Galloway (MCAG) is an organization that establishes a network for mothers, offers socialization for their children ages birth to five years. We meet on the third Monday of every month at 7:00 pm in the Historical Room at the Galloway Township Municipal Complex on Jimmie Leeds Road. We are dedicated to bringing out the best in each other both as women and as mothers. We celebrate with each other during times of great joy and support each other during stressful challenges by providing meals, child care and friendship.
The MCAG is both a social and charitable organization, with a focus on giving back to the community.. Every member commits to volunteer for at least one fundraising event per year. We make donations of money, goods and services to local parks, playgrounds, libraries, and most importantly, local families in need. The MCAG has also donated funds to pediatric units of hospitals, The Make a Wish Foundation, National Alliance for Autism Research, Family Services Association and The Cody Sanchez Foundation.
Our members enjoy participating in interactive weekly playgroups for children organized by age and availability. The MCAG hosts many events each year including holiday parties and monthly educational and social excursions for our children. Moms also look forward to our relaxing pampering night, holiday party, appreciation dinner and monthly Moms' Nights Out.
